| Online guestbook means for a visitor to acknowledge their visitation to a site (a logging system) that allows
visitors of a website to leave a public comment and to express their thoughts about the website or its subject,
as it is an informal method of dropping off a quick message. |

| The main added value of online guestbook is to display the kind of visitors
the site gets, including the part of the world they reside in, and gain
feedback from them and this will allow the webmaster to assess and
improve the company site. |

| Entries Modify/Delete and Reply |

| The entries of your guestbook are displayed just as they are displayed in the
guestbook itself with the addition of the "Reply", "Modify", "delete" links and
the checkbox for "global delete". |

• With the "Modify" link you can edit the name, e-mail, url, and comments fields of that particular entry. Due to the enormous flexibility that you have with the HTML Templates it would be far to complex to implement the option to change all the fields from the entry. Data integrity preserved: The data of those extra fields, which you may have customized, will not be affected by the changes you make on the standard fields.
• The "Reply" link leads essentially to the same screen as the "Modify" link, but with the exception that the "Text or Graphic to Fill in For Message Reply" is automatically added to the message for a consistent reply header within your guestbook.
• With the "Delete" link you can delete individual messages in your guestbook without affecting others. If you delete an entry... after you give your o.k. to deletion, it's gone. No recycle bin :-)!.
• The "Global Delete" checkbox is for deleting several messages at one time. When you browse through the messages and there are several you'd like to delete, just checkmark these, go to the very bottom of the page and click on "Multiple Delete Now." |
